What is Evaluation in ELT?

Hello! Today in my Learning Evaluation class, I learned what evaluation is, also known as assessment in ELT. I would like to share this useful information with you.


Definition of Evaluation

Evaluation is the process of collecting and analyzing information to understand how well students are learning. It helps teachers identify what students know, what they need to improve, and whether teaching methods are effective. The main purpose of evaluation is to support learning and make informed decisions in the teaching process.

My first German class

Hi! Today I feel very happy because I had my first German class . To be honest, at the beginning I felt nervous because German has the stereotype of being a difficult language. I was also worried about the schedule my classes are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. , and it was my first time being at the faculty at night.   Hi today I´m very excited to share with you what I learned today in my English class, I think this topic is very interesting and useful.  Dynamic Verbs  Dynamic verbs describe an action, change, or process with a beginning and an end. They are the most common type of verb and can be used in all tenses and aspects.  When referring to an action that is or was in progress, we use dynamic verbs with a continuous tense.                    I am eating breakfast now.  Here are some common verbs that refer to actions, not states, so they are dynamic and can be used in both simple and continuous tenses:  Stative Verbs   Stative or non-action verbs are verbs that describe a state or condition rather than an action.
